Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 5, 2026
Robin Cove (“we,” “us,” “our”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect at robincove.com, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Who we are
Robin Cove is an independent baby, pregnancy, and parenting information and product-review website operated at robincove.com. You can reach us any time at our contact page or by email at contact@robincove.com.
Information we collect
- •Information you give us — e.g. your email address if you subscribe to our newsletter, a due date or baby’s birthday you enter into our tools (stored on your device and, if you opt in by email, with your subscription), or details you submit in a community post or contact form.
- •Information collected automatically — like most websites, our servers and analytics tools log standard technical data: IP address, browser type, device, pages viewed, referring page, and timestamps.
- •Cookies and similar technologies — small files used to remember preferences, measure traffic, and track affiliate referrals. See our Cookie Policy.
- •Local storage — many of our free tools (saved items, due-date tracker, quizzes) store data in your browser only. That data never leaves your device unless you choose to share it (for example, by subscribing with your email).
How we use your information
- •Provide and improve the website, tools, and content.
- •Send the newsletter and updates you request (you can unsubscribe at any time via the link in every email).
- •Measure and analyze traffic so we can make the site better.
- •Track affiliate referrals so partner retailers can credit qualifying purchases.
- •Detect, prevent, and respond to fraud, abuse, and security issues.
- •Comply with legal obligations.
Advertising & affiliate links
Robin Cove earns commissions through affiliate links (see our Affiliate Disclosure). When you click an outbound product link, the destination retailer (such as Amazon) may set its own cookies and collect information under its own privacy policy. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party site you visit.
Third-party services
We use reputable third-party providers to operate the site, which may process limited data on our behalf — for example, web analytics, email delivery, and hosting. These providers are bound to use your information only to provide their services to us.
How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only: (a) with service providers who help us run the site; (b) when required by law or to protect rights and safety; or (c) in connection with a business transfer (e.g. a merger or acquisition), in which case we will notify you.
Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing — including under the EU/UK GDPR and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA). California residents have the right to know what we collect, to request deletion, and to opt out of any “sale” or “sharing” of personal information (we do not sell or share it). To exercise any right, email contact@robincove.com. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.
Children’s privacy
Robin Cove is intended for adults (expecting and current parents and caregivers). It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or under 16 in the EU/UK). If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Data retention & security
We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law, and we use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect it. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will revise the “Last updated” date above and, for material changes, provide a more prominent notice.
